Fund Raising Progress: $2,500,000 Project
God's love is seen through your participation in our Take A Seat Worship Center Restoration Project. The current phase of the project began in October of 2010 with the goal of raising $2,500,000, We are please to report that as of September 2011, $1,664,343 has been given.
Plan of Action
Our worship/media leadership team has analyzed and prioritized the scope of the remaining project and established a plan of action. Our architect, contractor and the Finance Committee of the Elder Board have reviewed and approved their recommendations. Concurrently, the Worship Center roof has been repaired and a roof replacement reserve has been fully funded.
Construction: Summer 2011
The construction modifications to our Worship Center projection screens, to accommodate high definition video projection have begun. We will also be installing the majority of the video, lighting and audio components before fall.
Final Phase
Almost sixteen years ago we held our first worship service in the Worship Center on Sunday, July 30, 1995. So, not surprisingly, our final phase of the Worship Center restoration will focus on replacing the seat upholstery, installing new carpet, painting the walls and ceiling clouds, replacing window coverings and resurfacing the stage. These improvements will be funded from the $933,685 that remains to be raised.
