Take a Seat: Every Seat Has a Story

Our Worship Center is an invitation to our church family and to our community: to come in, just as you are and take a seat.

We’re not talking about taking a seat in a ballpark or in a concert hall. We’re talking about our seats – in this house of God. Seats where people are inspired and encouraged, where lives are transformed.

Dr. Blake LaMunyon, Pastor of Evangelism and Midpoint
The Student’s Prayer
Matthew 6:9-13

What enabled Jesus to live such an extraordinary life? In part, prayer was a regular discipline in Jesus’ life – and so it should be for us as well.

Before the significant events in his life, Christ could be found on his knees. For our families, for our church, and for our country – prayer is vital. When the disciples asked Jesus how they should pray, Jesus gave them words and taught them a method of surrender in what is known as “The Lord’s Prayer.”

Margaret Feinberg
Scouting the Divine: My Search for God in Wine, Wood and Wild Honey

Margaret Feinberg, popular author and speaker was here last year presenting The Sacred Echo: I Love You.

Margaret spent time with a shepherdess in Oregon, a farmer in Nebraska, a beekeeper in Colorado, and a vintner in California in order to better understand the agricultural metaphors of sheep, bees, and vines in the Bible. Along the way, she gained deeper insight about how scripture applies to daily life and found the Bible coming alive in a whole new way.

This is an adventure you won’t want to miss!
