Dr. Wayne Cordeiro

Cherry Hills is pleased to welcome Dr. Wayne Cordeiro, author of The Divine Mentor to our services on February 28.

Dr. Cordeiro is Founder and Senior Pastor of New Hope Christian Fellowship in Honolulu, Hawaii. Noted for his motivational and humorous communication style, Dr. Cordeiro speaks on leadership, building relationships and restructuring for success. He worked with Youth for Christ and as a high school pastor in Eugene, Oregon, before moving with his wife Anna and their family to Hilo, Hawaii.

The Cordeiros moved to Honolulu in 1995 and founded New Hope Christian Fellowship. Three years later New Hope had a weekly attendance of over 14,500 and nine satellite campuses. Dr. Cordeiro is also the President of Pacific Rim Bible College, the director of New Hope International and has helped plant more than 100 churches from Las Vegas to Myanmar.

He has also authored nine books including The Divine Mentor. He is contributing author for church leadership books and has written articles for various magazines such as Leadership Journal.

Wayne and Anna Cordeiro, who still reside in Honolulu, Hawaii, are the parents of Amy, Aaron and Abigail, and the grandparents of Katie and Zachary.
