God's Power for the New Year - Psalm 29
Lee Strobel
Sunday, January 3

Cherry Hills is pleased to welcome Lee Strobel, nationally acclaimed speaker and New York Times best-selling author, to our services on Sunday, January 3. Lee will also be returning on March 21.

Lee is described by The Washington Post as "one of the evangelical community's most popular apologists." His best-selling book, The Case For Christ, is now widely considered a standard evangelism text. Lee's unique blend of insights and Biblical truth will leave you informed, encouraged and hungry for the truth of Jesus Christ.

Lee received his bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri and a master’s in law from Yale Law School. He worked for 14 years as an award-winning legal editor for The Chicago Tribune and taught First Amendment Law at Roosevelt University. After a nearly two-year investigation of the evidence for Jesus, Lee received Christ in 1981. He served as teaching pastor for Bill Hybels’ Willow Creek Community Church and later as teaching pastor for Rick Warren’s Saddleback Community Church. Lee co-authored the Becoming a Contagious Christian evangelism course, which has trained more than a million Christians. In recognition of his extensive research for his books, Southern Evangelical Seminary honored Lee with a doctorate of Divinity in 2007.

Lee and wife Leslie have two grown children.
