Do You See Christ?
A Charlie Brown Christmas

Christmas Eve
Thursday, December 24

In all the festivities of the season — the gifts, the lights, the music — it’s easy to lose sight of what Christmas is all about. Until a simple recitation of the Christmas story brings it all back into focus: “For unto you is born this day a Savior; he is Christ the Lord.”

We invite you to join us at Cherry Hills Community Church for a fresh perspective on Christmas through the truths and tales revealed in popular holiday movies.

Yes, this is a church, not a theater. Yet when we take a closer look at familiar scenes on film, we catch glimpses of real faith and hear the Christmas story straight from the Bible.

Come and see for yourself.

Do You See Joy?
It’s A Wonderful Life
Sunday, December 6

In the midst of a not-so-wonderful year, a hard-working person can lose perspective on life. But remember the promise of the Christmas angel: “Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.”

Do You See Faith?
The Polar Express
Sunday, December 13

The childlike wonder of Christmas may fade with the passing of the years. But no matter your age, belief rings clear as a bell when you listen for its arrival: “I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in.”

Do You See a Miracle?
Miracle on 34th Street
Sunday, December 20

So you make your list and when it’s your turn, you whisper in the old man’s ear and hope that he will grant your request. You think to yourself: Is he Santa or God? And it takes a miracle to for you to see the truth when he says: “I Am.”

Special musical guest: Bebo Norman.
