I am the Pastor of Community Life which basically means I provide direction and oversight to the process of connecting people into groups within their community where they can experience meaningful relationships and find encouragement in their life-long journey of becoming more like Christ. I work first-hand in recruiting, screening, training, and shepherding of group leaders to help encourage and equip them in their role as a leader.

In addition, I have the opportunity to serve as a liturgist (welcome, announcements, and prayer) in our Sunday Worship Services, offer pre-marital counseling to couples, and officiate several weddings a year.

 

Sports! I enjoy watching sports such as football, basketball, baseball, and golf. I also enjoy playing softball and golf. I have also taken up photography as a hobby and am just beginning to get into the editing side of things.

 

Sitting in a coffee/bagel shop listening to instrumental music, reading the Bible, and journaling my thoughts and impressions.

 

I think I need to laugh more! Being around funny people and hearing humorous stories makes me laugh. My dog is usually good for a laugh or two a day.

 

When my heart is moved by something beautiful - a stirring piece of music, a timely word from a friend, a moving part in a movie, an overwhelming kind act.

 

Don't take life or yourself too seriously!
