Gary Sokol is the Director of City Ministry for Cherry Hills Community Church. I have a B.S. degree in Business and am finishing up a biblical studies series through the Evangelical Church Alliance.

I came to faith in 1987 and in March of 1988 I was working for an urban ministry that provided food to urban and suburban food banks. The Lord dropped me in the one place I never went as an unbeliever, never had compassion for the poor nor people of color. Because I was put into that position in ministry my heart grew soft and passionate for those that were and are less fortunate. I am blessed to work as the pastor of city ministry for Cherry Hills and continue my relationships with those in the city.

Gary and His wife Betty are grandparents of 5 grandchildren. Betty is the director of Manna ministry here at CHCC.
