Partnership with Asian Hope

Asian Hope is an orphanage and school located in Phnom Penh,
Cambodia. We are planning several Discover the World short-term mission trips to the home and school in the coming year, as well as planning internships for students from the home who are currently studying in the United States. If you are interested in joining one of the teams or assisting with the internships, please contact Andy Hawker.

HOPE reaches

"There are no God-forsaken places. There are just church-forsaken places."
—Jon Fuller

The mission of the Unreached Peoples Ministry Team is to serve and to love Christ as we motivate, equip and involve the congregation at Cherry Hills in building God’s kingdom among the unreached people groups of the world. Taking the gospel to the ends of the earth

The term “unreached people” refers to a group of people who have no local church and who largely live in the 10-40 window, a geographic area between 10 and 40 degrees north of the equator that encompasses the majority of the Muslim world.

Most missionaries in the 10-40 window are not in these countries on missionary visas, but must obtain student or work visas. As a result, they cannot be public about their purpose there. They work under a secular front of business or study that allows them to be integrated into society wherever they are.

Offering meaningful support

In order to promote the gospel, Cherry Hills provides consistent and meaningful support to missionaries around the world. The Unreached Peoples team provides missionary care through correspondence, financial and prayer support as well as housing and other services when missionaries are home on furlough. Team members encourage missionaries by visiting them personally and seeing first-hand what their ministries are all about.

Because of security issues, much information about the location and people served by the missionaries under Unreached Peoples will remain undisclosed.
