U.S. Ministries

The mission of the U.S. Ministries Team is to influence our culture for Christ in the areas of government, media/entertainment, education and certain social issues deemed appropriate by church leadership. Additionally, the team uses resources of the church and partnering ministries to mobilize the congregation on issues that affect our nation.

Cultivating a biblical perspective and influence

When addressing the issues this team deals with, we seek to soften people’s hearts to the things of God and to get them to look at God’s plans more than man’s. This team needs people who are in tune with the moral and social issues of our society, whether that’s sanctity of life or the environment, marriage or poverty. We need people sensitive to these issues and willing to mobilize our congregation to action in ways that bring about positive, Christ-honoring changes in our culture.

HOPE influences

Citizen Project

Through online resources and strategic opportunities, we provide various ways for you to grow in awareness of public policy, social justice and the political process. By relating historical and biblical perspectives to today’s significant issues, we hope you’ll be encouraged and equipped to better engage as a citizen and as a Christian.

Support our Troops

Since 2003, our Support our Troops Ministry has kept a military prayer list for those serving in the armed forces with a connection to our church. Over the years we have had the privilege of packing thousands of Christmas care packages that are prayed over and sent to those on our prayer list as well as to Ft. Carson soldiers deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan.
