Long Before 'You Tube'
Jesus said: "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
—Acts 1:8 NIV
The first century church didn’t have satellite TV or the Internet to spread the Good News, yet the message mobilized a global phenomenon. How did they do it? One person at a time, the way Jesus did it. We can do it too.
At Basketball Camp
"During the week, several kids asked Jesus to come into their hearts and several more desired to talk with counselors that night to answer questions. Discussion, prayer and tears flowed through much of the night. The Holy Spirit was as thick as fog in that building."
Wouldn't Let Go
"Before we started to walk around and see all the 'homes,' these two little girls came up to me, grasped my hands and wouldn't let go. They tried to talk to me in Spanish, but all I could say after 'Como se llama' was 'No comprendo.' Nevertheless, they didn't care and just kept trying to get me to understand, using hand gestures and motions."
Biking Beauty
"The first Mississippi Silent Ride for Jesus happened on a beautiful sunny day on the Barnett Reservoir near Jackson. ... As we rode across the causeway, I kept singing hymns in my mind, especially For the Beauty of the Earth and its refrain: 'Lord of all to Thee we raise this our hymn of grateful praise.'"
Without Words
“The women cannot speak the Indonesian language, so it was difficult for me to communicate with them. Even so, I tried to communicate with the elderly mother as best as I could. My methods were to help her wash dishes and sweep the house. So she was able to understand that I was interested in her."

Open hearts to the Good News
Through Missions & Outreach at Cherry Hills Community Church, we present the HOPE of the Gospel and pray that those we serve are open to receive it.
Some have never heard.
Some are skeptics.
Some are seeking a path to follow.
But all are watching our actions to see if we really mean what we say. And yes, we do.
HOPE reaches
Our Discover the World short-term missions program unites teams around ministry projects that provide hands-on, life-changing experiences and a greater awareness of desperate needs around the world.
In a growing partnership with Elim Evangelical Church of Pisek and other ministries, our Czech Initiative actively partners in reaching people with the message of Christ in a nation with as few as 1% practicing Protestants and 5% Catholics.
Our Unreached Peoples team focuses on areas of the world that have no indigenous church and where Christians cannot be public about their purposes, so missionaries work under a secular front of business or study that allows them to be integrated into society wherever they are.
HOPE mobilizes
By connecting skilled professionals with each other and with compelling opportunities around the world, our Cherry Hills @ Work team infuses business with a deep sense of mission that creates jobs in local economies, delivers competitive products and services, and opens doors to the HOPE of the Gospel.
Through the Colorado spoke of the International Christian Cycling Club, we give bicyclists the opportunity to see the love and grace of Jesus Christ and unite Christian cyclists for a worldwide testimony in lifestyle, training and sportsmanship.
