Serving the Northern Cheyenne People
Ministry Team: US Missions
Dean and Keli, along with their children Megan, Molly and Marlo, are serving the Northern Cheyenne People on a reservation in Lame Deer, Montana. Dean is the pastor of Morning Star Baptist Church, which is on the reservation. They also operate a Christian school for children living on the reservation, host a Youth Church, have a men's discipleship program, help provide emergency services and counseling in the community, and do a lot of community outreach and prayer walking.
The Smith family has hosted our Discover the World Lame Deer teams every summer since 2005 and has been supported by the church since 2009.
