Providing leadership on board the Operation Mobilization Ships

Ministry Team: Empowering Ministries

Dale and Elaine Rhoton serve on board the Operation Mobilization ships and are based in California. On board the ships, they serve as leaders of the crew and speak to groups on and off the ships. When they're not on board one of the ships, they travel to churches around the country promoting and raising funds for the OM Ships Ministry.

The purpose of the ships ministry is to provide Christian literature and ministry training to people all over the world and they are able to dock in many closed countries where Christian literature is scarce. The ships ministry began in 1970 and since then, they have visited over 450 different ports in over 150 countries and territories and welcomed almost 39 million visitors on board.

Dale and Elaine have been supported by Cherry Hills since 1990.
