Equipping the next generation of leaders in Eastern Europe

Ministry Team: Czech Initiative

Matt and Amy are preparing to move their family to the Czech Republic to serve with Josiah Venture. They have four children, Hannah, Caden, Asher, and Hayes. Matt and Amy are thrilled to join the movement of God that is taking place among the youth of Eastern Europe. They will live in Ostrava, CZ, which is on the Eastern side of the country. For their first two years of service, they will be leaders in the area empowering and training, discipleship and will be learning the language. During the summers, they will help lead English Camps and will help oversee Josiah Venture's intern program. During the rest of the year, they will work with the youth ministry of Christian Fellowship Church in Ostrava, CZ.

Matt will also be involved in the music ministry by leading and developing the worship team for the church. After 2 years, they hope to lead a significant portion of JV’s developing Bohemia Team (the Western side of Czech which is “the hardest soil” of the country) to help expand the Kingdom of God in the western region of the CZ.
