Denver Rescue Mission: Champa Champions

This is a new Cherry Hills ministry focused on championing the cause of the single mothers and children who live at Champa House, a small Denver Rescue Mission facility.

Up to nine single mothers and their children ages 12 and younger live at Champa House and they need champions to help their cause of future self-sufficiency. The Champa moms are very grateful for Cherry Hills’ interest and care in their effort to become self-sufficient. When they first arrive at Champa House, they are given a journal to keep and they are often given pretty frames for their birthdays.

Current Needs

New Champions are always welcome to champion the cause for these single moms and their young children. Champa is in need of diapers and wipes this month.

Champa is seeking professional women willing to allow a mom to spend a day shadowing them at work as part of Champa’s career training service. Please place your donation in the marked drawers in the wooden collection site at the main entrance.
