Heart to Honduras
Partnering with the Honduran church
Heart to Honduras (HTH) works with the Honduran church to help fulfill Jesus’ command to make disciples and provide for the poor. HTH provides financial support for rural teachers and building improvements for local schools, improves homes and buildings through construction projects, provides medical care, dental and eye clinics and hospice care. HTH also conducts a two-year discipleship program for believers from Central and South America.
A new Cherry Hills team called the Honduras Home Team has formed and has entered into a sister church partnership with a small, but quickly growing church in Las Lomitas called Brazos Abiertos. They are committed to praying for the congregation, encouraging them with regular communication, working side by side with them on Ministry Team Trips, and financially supporting their pastor. Cherry Hills has been partnering with Heart to Honduras since 2000.
