Trip Overview

The Discover the World team has been asked to do several things on this mission trip, and we will choose those tasks that team members feel equipped to do.

Joshua Vision India (JVI) has requested we bring team members who can train their students in any of the following areas:

Missions
Bible Study Skills
Discipleship
Counseling
Ministry to the women
Spiritual Warfare
Handicrafts that can generate income (jewelry making, embroidery, fabric painting. knitting etc.)

At Equipping Members on Service, India (EMOS), we will need team members that can assist this ministry in training individuals (office staff) in each of the following areas:

Book keeping
Library management
Bible study to the church planters who are taking the training
Time management
Communication skills
Basic computer skills to church planters

Ministry Partners:

We will work with Joshua Vision International (JVI) in Hyderabad and with Equipping Members on Service (EMOS) in Trivandrum. These missions train master trainers and house church planters for evangelistic outreach to draw Indians into relationship with Jesus Christ.

What is the Imagine India Team?

The mission of Imagine India is to motivate, equip and involve the congregation at CHCC in building God’s Kingdom in India, beginning in Orissa State of India and expanding as God leads. Imagine India serves national churches and church organizations in India that are working primarily to help the Dalit “untouchables” of society. These are the poorest of the poor in India.

The estimated cost will be $3,200 per person based on current airfares. This cost includes:

Health, Accident and Emergency evacuation insurance

Fundraising training will be available.

Day 1-2 Depart Denver traveling to Delhi
Day 3 Travel to Hyderabad
Day 4-7 Teaching at Joshua Vision India
Day 8 Travel to Trivandrum
Day 9 Day of rest and church
Day 10-13 Teaching at EMOS
Day 14-15 Travel back to Denver

Passport is required.
There is a $100 non-refundable deposit per person.
