The Josiah Venture Fusion Camp is a means to reach un-churched youth in the Czech Republic through music and other artistic expressions, such as photography, video, sound engineering, visual arts and dance.

The artistic aspects of this camp are woven together with gospel messages in the music performed as well as in conversations that occur throughout the day, during rehearsals, activities, and free time. The message of salvation in Christ is presented in the evening programs and in small group discussions with the Czech students. The FUSION program has been shown to be one of the most effective methods of introducing the gospel message to students in this overwhelmingly atheistic country.

In addition to the formal presentations, the larger portion of the sharing of the Gospel is accomplished by the demonstration of Christ's love to the participants from Czech. The Czech people are very observant, and will watch closely how the instructors behave towards them and each other. This is yet another avenue to reach a community for Christ!
Young people in Eastern Europe live in a changing world their parents never knew – a place once dominated by government sponsored atheism yet now filled with opportunity and freedom. But this same region is also increasingly becoming a “post-Christian society.”

Looking For

  • Musicians who can teach their particular aspect of music, be it singing, playing an instrument, or writing music.
  • Visual artists that can teach their aspect of art (photography, video, etc.).
  • Individuals who can provide training in the area of sounds engineering
