City Ministry: Get Involved

Through these opportunities coordinated by our City Ministry, you can join in the vision to elevate the urban poor right here in our Denver community.

Help the poor, the vulnerable and the sick

• Join one of our teams that tutors inner city students through Whiz Kids, or become a one-on-one mentor through Save Our Youth or Friends For Youth. No teaching skills needed, just a love for kids.

• Become part of a small group that comes alongside a homeless family to help bring stability to their lives. This program works in partnership with Denver Rescue Mission and the Mayor’s Homeless Initiative. Training and coaching is provided.

• Help build relationships of trust and love with kids living on the street through ministry with Restoration Outreach Programs.

Plant and nourish new churches

• Come alongside the pastors of one of our urban church partners to encourage and assist them as they wrestle through all the issues of leading the church. They need coaching, encouragement, prayer and some practical skills like accounting.

Become a Sender

Senders serve on home-based teams to encourage and pray for our missions family and to help develop strategies to spread the ministry of Cherry Hills to all corners of the earth. Senders extend hospitality, pray, develop ministry strategy and tools, disciple, teach, write, encourage, and oversee significant budgets and more.
