Workplace Ministry

HOPE challenges

“God is marshalling his people in the workplace as never before in history. God is up to something. The next spiritual awakening could take place in the marketplace.” —Henry Blackaby

"People who want to mix God and business are rebels on several fronts. They reject the centuries-old American conviction that spirituality is a private matter. They challenge religious thinkers who disdain business as an inherently impure pursuit. They disagree with business people who say that religion is unavoidably divisive.” —Fortune Magazine, July 16, 2001

Through Cherry Hills @ Work, many in our church are discovering that their work matters to God. Yours does too.

As followers of Christ, we believe that everything we have ultimately belongs to God, and he invites us to engage in his work as messengers of HOPE to those around us and around the world. We are active in his work as we develop and steward all that has been entrusted to us. Consider for a moment that your education and experience are God-given gifts—and so are your relationships and opportunities.

Faith at Work

With this perspective, many workplace believers no longer want to live with a compartmentalized faith that creates a false dichotomy between secular and sacred. They don’t want to coast through a workweek that’s supposed to be spiritually neutral—as if that were possible in a world where integrity and ethics are on the line every day.

Cherry Hills @ Work believes in the power of the church as a community of people called to the purpose of serving Christ—but we invite you to discover the difference between going to church and being the church. We challenge you to see your workplace as a mission field where every day holds potential for character development and life transformation.
