Cherry Hills Community Church

Systems and Network Administrator - REVISED

This is a full time position, 40 hours per week position.

Under the general supervision of the Senior Systems & Network Administrator, this position assists with the administration of the campus wide computing and network environment. The server environment includes 40+ servers running Macintosh OSX 10.6/7, Windows Server 2k3/2k8/2k8-R2, Linux RHEL, in a dual directory environment. The entirely managed network environment is predominantly HP ProCurve switching and Xirrus wireless arrays with multiple subnets and VLan routing, using 802.1x authentication.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Performs intermediate hardware server setup, installation and configuration of the operating system, new releases and upgrades. Executes a backup and recovery process for all data systems
  • Installs, maintains, and monitors the operation of the organization’s local and wide area networks
  • Responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and reporting on all infrastructure support systems

Requirements and qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • Outstanding Customer & Personal Service skills and active listening
  • High skill with most operating system commands/utilities
  • Familiar with most basic system administration tools and processes
  • Ability to program in an administrative language

Education and Certification requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of system administration / network administration experience
  • Demonstrable proficiency in: Macintosh Server 10.6/7; Windows Server 2k3, 2k8, 2k8-R2; Linux; Remote Access Tools, Windows RD or equivalent, Macintosh ARD
  • Apple Certified Support Professional, or equivalent experience
  • A degree in computer science or related field is preferred

Student Ministry Communications Coordinator

This is a part-time, 20-25 hours per week position.

The qualified candidate will assist the Liquid Student Ministry staff with media aspects of student ministry, serve as creative assistant for Liquid staff, assist with communication and production of large events.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist Liquid staff in all media related tasks such as writing & editing, locating video clips, downloading appropriate music, etc. 
  • Develop electronic communication avenues for both Junior and Senior high ministries (e.g.,. mass-text message, Facebook, YouTube, invites, etc.)
  • Assist in creative needs of the ministry such as graphic design, video editing, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Serve as media manager for large events

Requirements and qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Children’s, Youth, and /or Family Ministry.
  • Strong relational, media and computer skills.

Special Service Bus Driver

This is an on call, as needed position, hours and days will vary.

Special service bus drivers carry passengers from city to city, state to state. Working according to timetables and planned routes supporting church events.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Driving bus carefully and in compliance with traffic regulations.
  • Assuming responsibility for the safety of passengers in loading, unloading and transporting to and from destination.
  • Instructing passengers in safety precautions and practices.

All qualified applicants must:

  • Have 20/20 vision in both eyes.
  • Cannot be a diabetic on insulin or have any other physical limitation that might affect safe operation of any vehicle.
  • Have a current State of Colorado Commercial driver’s license and original Social Security card with same last name on both.
  • Have verifiable driving experience.
  • Have a good driving record. No DUI conviction in past fifteen (15) years.
  • Provide a copy of Diploma or GED.
